SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED
National Portrait Gallery is pleased to reveal the three photographers shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2017.
The major international photography award organised by the National Portrait Gallery, London is celebrating its tenth anniversary under Taylor Wessing‘s sponsorship this year.
Congratulations to photographers César Dezfuli, Maija Tammi and Abbie Trayler-Smith, who have been nominated for the £15,000 first prize.
The prize-winning photographs were chosen from 5,717 submissions entered by 2,423 photographers from 66 different countries.
All prize winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the National Portrait Gallery on Tuesday 14 November 2017.

The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2017 exhibition will be on display at the Gallery from 16 November 2017 to 4 February 2018 before touring to venues around the UK.
